Old but sexy

How some men 'just have it.'

Hello Friend,

A playful, balding builder beats a man in finance, trust fund, 6`5, blue eyes, everytime.

I’ll die on this hill.

Yesterday, I watched a movie about a young woman(Scarlett Johansson), fresh out of college, who falls for a much older gentleman(Bill Murray).

It wasn't for his wealth.

Nor for his looks (average).

And definitely not for his pick up lines (he had zero).

So, what drew her in?

It was how he made her feel.

If you pay close attention to their dialogue, you'll notice his words carried a sense of playful imagination, something rare and irresistible.

Charlotte: You having a nice time?

Bob : Can you keep a secret? I'm trying to organize a prison break. I'm looking for, like, an accomplice. We have to first get out of this bar, then the hotel, then the city, and then the country. Are you in or you out?

Charlotte : I'm in. I'll go pack my stuff.

He could have responded, ‘’Yes, the event is great!’...But what fun is that?

Instead, he made her laugh with a nonsensical adventure  story.

By choosing playfulness over logic, he does three things:

  1. He pulls her out of the mundane world and plunges her into a fantasy. And who doesn't love a bit of make-believe, even if just for a moment?

  2. He becomes a portal to possibilities. Through him, she can let go and play.

  3. He taps into her emotions. A man who can touch a woman’s emotions is like a skilled pianist. In the hands of a master, the piano comes alive, creating music that transports the listener far away. But in the hands of someone less skilled, the same piano sounds dull and flat.  The same piano can sing or stay silent, depending on the artist behind the instrument.

Playing with a woman’s imagination is far more seductive than listing your impressive achievements.

A playful, balding builder beats a man in finance, trust fund, 6`5, blue eyes, everytime.

Love,
Elina.
